Recently my brother and I were able to spend some quality brother/sister time down in Milwaukee while attending the Milwaukee Restaurant Expo. The Milwaukee Restaurant Expo was, of course, fabulous! But, aside from just being able to spend time with my awesome little brother and treasuring that (he's an amazing and talented chef in training!) it was great to spend a little more quality time with my camera!
The restaurant expo was held at the Frontier Airlines Center in Milwaukee, WI. I actually think the Frontier Airlines Center is one of my new favorite (indoor) places to photograph people. The amazing windows and sweeping views of the city made for some great shots. Jacob, in addition to being a chef, also happens to be very photogenic. Thankfully, he more than happy to oblige for me and the camera. In addition to shooting at the Frontier Airlines Center, we made a quick stop just down the road to the old Pabst Brewery. What cool old buildings! I love anything with character, and the old brewery has plenty of that! We only had a few minutes, but it was just enough time to take a look around and capture some memories.
It was a great day all around. With how busy life gets, it can be hard to spend a lot of time with family. Having a day with my brother to relax, talk, share and catch up on all the latest things going on in our lives was just what we needed. Family is forever, and I just love mine. I am so thankful for photography, because you can keep little moments forever, it's like keeping little pieces of your heart captured to remember for later. :)
